A small lending library is available at the Newtown Parent Connection. Videotapes of many of the previous public forums can also be borrowed. Click here to see a bibliography of some of the materials available to borrow.
Call 203-270-1600, and leave your name, phone number, email, and the title of the book you are requesting. You will be contacted about where and when to pick up the material. These books circulate to adults only.

Lending Library Policy
The books, tapes, and other materials in this collection are provided as information resources for parents and other interested adults, as a public service. These resources support the mission statement of the Newtown Parent Connection, "To educated and empower our community in the prevention of substance abuse and to embrace families in crisis". Provision of this material does not necessarily represent an endorsement of the materials' contents in their entirety by the Newtown Parent Connection. The information provided is not meant for self-diagnosis or as a substitute for professional care. The scope of this collection includes fiction and nonfiction resources for children and adults. Topics covered in this collection include descriptions of the effects of substance abuse, critical information about referral services, programs that focus on strengthening families and sources of assistance for young people whose lives have been affected by substance use or abuse.
Other social issues that impact youth are also included. These materials circulate to adults only.
